Andrew Jones

Andrew Jones is an urban planner who carries a background in economic development strategy consulting and public policy research, with a passione for inclusive economic development and placemaking.

Andrew leverages his analytical skills and ideation capacity to support and advance Urbane's committments to local communities. Prior to joining Urbane, Andrew spent two years at James Lima Planning + Development, where he advised on workforce development and ecosystem-building strategies for district-scale master plans, conducted economic impact analyses for public infrastructure and anchor institution projects, and formulated governance models and programming curricula for public spaces, community facilities, and commercial districts and corridors.  

Andrew completed his Master of Urban Planning at New York University, where he served as a Community Planning Fellow for Brooklyn Community Board 14 and led a team contracted by the Department of City Planning to craft a redevelopment framework for Staten Island’s industrial waterfront. Mr. Jones also holds a BA in Political Science from the George Washington University.
